A prominent source claims that the Vivo X Fold S could be launched under the name of Vivo X Fold Plus. Vivi’s foldable handset is said to feature the same specs he previously shared about the Vivi X Fold S by a source. The alleged Vivo X Fold Plus was recently spotted on his 3C certification website and benchmarking website Geekbench in China.

The handset will reportedly feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Earlier, a source suggested that Vivo’s foldable smartphone would feature his 2K LTPO display.

According to informant Digital Chat Station, the Vivo X Fold S will be launched under the Vivo Plus brand. The source further adds that the specifications previously reported for the purported Vivo X Fold S are the same for the Vivo X Fold Plus.

On the front, this Vivo smartphone is designed to carry his 16MP front camera for selfies.

A previous report from the same informant said that the device would feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It is said to house a 4,700mAh battery that supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Vivo’s purported foldable smartphone is said to be an upgraded version of the Vivo X Fold, which launched in April this year.
