A tribute to the friends and associates of Market America co-founder JR Rider.
On Tuesday, the marketing company released a statement on Twitter, saying it was “extremely sad” to share the sudden passing of Ryder, 63.
“Those of us who were fortunate enough to know and work with JR have lost friends, partners and mentors.JR’s leadership, passion and energy will help people live and live more fulfilling lives. It was the source of the company that allowed us to do so on our own terms,” the company said in a statement.

Leidinger’s wife, Lauren Leidinger, wrote on Wednesday that her “heart was torn out” in a statement posted on Facebook about her husband’s death.

Market America confirmed to PEOPLE on Thursday that JR suffered a pulmonary embolism on a chartered yacht in Croatia and died “suddenly & predictably”.
Lauren also shared a similar statement on Instagram along with a photo of her and JR on their wedding day, honoring their “33 years of love together on this earth.”
Ridinger founded Market America in 1992. He and his Loren took his company private in 2001, according to CBS News.
On Wednesday, Ryders’ friend Kim Kardashian shared two photos of JR that Lauren posted to her Instagram story, paying tribute to the deceased businessman with the caption, “Memories are your best memories.” It was well made,” he wrote.
